Black History and the History of Racism with Albert Cook

Well friends, it’s Black History Month and my friend Albert Cook has crafted a brilliant 10-part radio/podcast series on the topic “Black History and The History of Racism”. For 23 years, Albert has taught in the Social Studies Department of New Paltz High School. This enlightening collection provides a rich, global perspective on Black History. His topics range from racism to America, to the emergence of whiteness as a concept, to the etymology and historical/cultural functions of the N-word, racial economics, and many more.

Below I’ll link out to each part of the series. Do yourself a favor and dive in deep to this insightful body of work.
